Royals drop pair of games

The Seneca Royals Girls Basketball team opened up their 2025-26 regular season last Tuesday, Nov. 18 when they welcomed the Cashton Eagles to the Seneca Gym. The visiting Eagles claimed a 23-15 halftime lead before pulling away in the second half for a 49-35 win. Full stats were not available at press time.

Seneca hit the road two nights later when they traveled to Muscoda to take on the Riverdale Chieftains and the host Chieftains came away with a 45-24 win as the Royals fell to 0-2 on the young season. Stats for this game were also not available as of press time.

Following this past Monday night’s home non-conference game with the Highland Cardinals, the Royals are off until next Monday, Dec. 1 when they welcome Brookwood to Seneca with game time scheduled for 5:45 p.m.
