With a 60-34 victory over the host Zephyrs last Thursday night, coach Michael DiPadova and his Lady Timberwolves improved to 3-7 in Six Rivers girls’ basketball action.
“This was a nice bounce-back effort from our girls, and it was probably our most balanced scoring output of the season,” said coach DiPadova.
The Timberwolves, who trailed 24-23 at the half, outscored the Zephyrs 37-10 in the second half to secure a 26-point victory.
With three different players in double figures, it was Ava Nies and Erin Adrian leading the way with 15 points each, Nies scoring 12 points in the second half, and Adrian eight in the second half.
Finishing with 12 points was Adayah Groom, while Kristina Sletten added nine and Eden Thornton six.
Following this past Tuesday night’s home game against Shullsburg, the Lady Timberwolves will travel to Black Hawk Friday night.
