Prairie du Chien senior Jack Simmons and Seneca-Wauzeka-Steuben senior Sawyer Swiggum were both recently named as All-Region selections for the 2025 season by the Wisconsin Football Coaches Association. Simmons was selected as an offensive and defensive lineman after being selected as an offensive lineman in 2024.

Simmons finished the 2025 season on defense with 84 total tackles, of which 44 were solo tackles and 21 were for a loss. He also had 2.5 quarterback sacks on the year, one forced fumble and one fumble recovery.

Swiggum was selected to the team at inside linebacker, his first career all-region selection. He had 90 total tackles this season, with 26 being solo tackles and eight for a loss. Swiggum had one quarterback sack, one fumble recovery and one kickoff return that he returned 46 yards for a touchdown during the season.

The all-region selection also makes Swiggum the first ever all-region selection for the Seneca-Wauzeka-Steuben Bluegolds as a co-op.

The Wisconsin Football Coaches Association are scheduled to announce their all-state selections this week prior to the WIAA State Football championship games.
