The Prairie du Chien girls basketball team welcomed conference rival Platteville to Prairie du Chien last Thursday, Jan. 8. The visitors took a 37-21 lead into halftime before outlasting the Hawks in the second half 27-10 as the visitors defeated Prairie du Chien 64-31 to move their overall record to 11-2 and 3-0 in the SWC to remain a half game back of first place Lancaster (4-0).

Complete stats were not available as of press time as the Hawks fell to 2-7 overall and 0-4 in the SWC.

Prairie du Chien hosted Argyle/Pecatonica this past Tuesday night before traveling to Richland Center this Friday night at 7 p.m.
