The final dual of the night pitted the Hawks against Waukon with the visiting Indians coming away with a 59-18 dual win.

The Hawks were forced to forfeit four matches due to WIAA’s regular season limit of 50 matches.

The Hawks travel to Brookwood High School this Saturday for the D3 individual sectional meet.

This year features a brand new WIAA wrestling postseason setup. The top two finishers at each weight in each of the seven sectionals qualifies for the individual state meet in Madison in two weeks, while the teams that finish in the top six of team scores at the individual sectional meet this Saturday will qualify for one of seven team sectional meets in each division next Saturday.

The seven team sectional winners plus a wild card (a runner-up from one of the team sectional meets) will advance to the team state meet at the La Crosse Center the weekend of March 6 and 7.
