PdC senior cross country runner Sam Kramer earned his third consecutive second team all-conference honor last month thanks to his eighth place finish at the 2025 SWC Cross Country Meet at Platteville High School.

Kramer was the first PdC boy to earn first or second team all-conference honors in three consecutive seasons since Randy Bunders did so with a trio of first team honors from 1990 to 1992. Prior to Bunders, the feat was also accomplished by Eric Otteson from 1988 to 1990 (also first team all-conference).

Prior to Kramer, the last PdC boys runners to earn all-conference recognition at the conference meet was Nick Kurtz and Nick Johnson in 2015. Kurtz earned a spot on the first team with a fifth place finish at the conference meet while Johnson finished in 13th place to make the second team.
