Hawks fall at Dodgeville, home vs Wauzeka

The Prairie du Chien girls basketball team traveled to Dodgeville last Thursday for a conference game against the Dodgers. The hosts held off the Hawks late to claim a 55-47 victory.

The Hawks returned to the court two nights later when they hosted the Wauzeka-Steuben Hornets in the first ever varsity meeting between the two programs. After a first half that saw the Hornets take a 26-17 lead into intermission before pulling away in the second half for a 61-36 victory.

Stats for both games were not available as of press time with the Hawks falling to 3-15 overall and 1-7 in the SWC with the pair of losses.

Prairie du Chien welcomed Decorah to town this past Tuesday night before heading to Platteville this Friday night.
