The Prairie du Chien boys basketball team traveled to Mineral Point last Monday, Dec. 22 for the first of their two games over the holiday break and were defeated by the host Pointers 86-27.
Leading the Hawks in scoring was senior Ashton Landt with eight points. Landt was also the top rebounder for Prairie with four rebounds.
Senior Steven Duha and sophomore Brice Krachey had five points each in the loss, while senior Sam Kramer added three points. Fellow seniors Garrett DeHart and Brock Folsom along with sophomore Caydon Sutter rounded out the Hawks scoring tally with two points each.
PdC was back on the road last night when they went to Richland Center for a make-up game with the Hornets. The Hawks then welcome Black River Falls to town this Friday night at 7:30 p.m. in another game that was postponed due to the weather last month.
